Boomtown and Co: Boomtown is one of the more popular shops in Northeast Tennessee and offers a variety of gifts that are specific the area of the Tri-Cities and all the tourist attractions you can find there. Their premium apparel is known far and wide in the region, from the popular t-shirts to the unique collectible items. If you need a new Kingsport wardrobe when you come into town, this needs to be your first stop!

Kings Sport Axe House: Kingsport was the first time we had a chance to throw axes and we could not have been more excited, and it is safe to say that we got addicted quick. With a large event space and a bar stocked full of cold beer, the Kings Sport Axe House is the perfect spot for private events, special occasions, and even team building! Additionally, they have league nights too, so get signed up and tell them we sent you!

Antique Shops: Northeast Tennessee is no stranger to antique shops and Kingsport is no different! Their Antique District has numerous stores that offer everything a bibliophile needs, collectible art pieces, and even sports memorabilia. With six stores in the district, you will be able to find anything your heart desires. The purveyors here hold antiques from mid-20th century modernism to classical Americana. No matter what you are looking for, you will surely find a prize.

Hook and Ladder: Hook and Ladder is definitely one of the most unique distilleries we have ever visited. Makers of genuine east Tennessee moonshine, Drew Draper had the idea for the passion project and thankfully got the much need help from his dad, a decorated Senior Captain with the Kingsport Fire Department. Their flavors range from the original recipe, Backdraft Spiced Rum, private preserve peach whiskey, and the moonshine boasting cinnaburn, salted watermelon, and even mango! From the unique and clean tasting spirits to the décor, this is one stop you cannot miss on your visit to Kingsport.

Bays Mountain Brewing: If you are more of a beer drinker and you are in Downtown Kingsport, then Bays Mountain Brewing is where you can wet your whistle. With flavors like Blood Orange Hefeweizen, What’s the Spread Peanut Butter Stout, Tiki Torch Pale Ale Jalapeno and Pineapple, and Queen of Swords from Gypsy Circus Cider, you simply cannot go wrong with anything you choose here. You can also join the Mug club, which is an annual membership, and the mugs have numerous benefits, such as having a personalized mug every time you stop in!

Hibbert-Davis Urban Brews: When we stopped in at HD Urban Brews it was a cold wet day and the hot coffee and tea hit a little different for us. The coffee shop service organic coffees and teas, organic lavender lattes, craft beer, and steamed and grilled paninis hot or cold. They also carry a variety of local items too so you can get your caffeine on with some of the best coffee and tea in all Northeast Tennessee!

There is just simply nothing like visiting Downtown Kingsport and while you may be completely overwhelmed with everything is has to offer, make sure you visit these locations first and you will quickly understand why we highlighted these!
